With a projector we can make giant screens of 100 and even 300 inches, while TVs of 75" or more are not an option for most mortals. Keep in mind that, for example, a 100" image is not twice as large. larger than a 50" television , but 4 times larger! And a 130" image is equivalent to 4 65" televisions .

With a projector of a few hundred euros you will very easily get spectacular images of 100 and even 150 inches (you will cover walls 2 and even more than 3 inches wide!), while TVs, for measurements of more than 75 inches (which are not even bring the projectors closer) you will have to spend several thousand euros.

Projector: Best immersive experience

Since the difference between projectors and televisions in terms of image size is so abysmal, with projectors you get a much more immersive and impactful experience than with a TV. For home theaters and video games there is no color: a projector wins by a landslide (the 'lag' is history). And precisely because they provide those large and spectacular images, video projectors are also the best option in large spaces such as meeting rooms, company presentations , high school and university classrooms , auditoriums, theaters or museums . Other advantages of a Projector vs TV

The projector is more versatile than the TV , it gives us 2 more advantages :
1) We can modify the size of the screen, and normally use it with a 'smaller' image, while at night or on the weekend we can make a giant screen to watch movies .
2) A projector is portable , and we can change it from room to room, as well as take it, for example, to the country house, or on vacation to the campsite to project drawings for the children outdoors , or take it to the office to use for presentations . If we travel making commercial presentations , a projector will be our best ally.

When is a television better than a projector?

1) When we are going to allocate less than €400 in budget. DO NOT buy cheaper Chinese projectors , because when they break down after a few months and you can't fix them you will regret it.
2) In very small spaces , since a projector usually needs a certain projection distance (although short distance projectors minimize this problem). Or if you don't have a free wall with enough space.
3) For medium and small screens : At home, if you want an image less than 1.5m wide (about 65"), it is not worth buying a projector: it is better to buy a television .
4) In homes with a LOT of direct sunlight, the televisions are brighter .

When NOT to buy a television
(in these cases it is prohibited!)

For training classrooms, schools, institutes and universities YOU MUST USE A PROJECTOR. A television will waste money and make students fail more. Exception: In VERY small classrooms, with a maximum of 10-12 students, e.g. in some academies and driving schools .

In meeting and conference rooms YOU MUST USE A PROJECTOR. With a television, the text content of Excel spreadsheets, or architectural, design, engineering plans, and a long etc. will not be distinguished. Exception: VERY small meeting rooms , with a maximum of 4 people, as long as the presentations are video, images and large letters.
